Our Internship Programme
At The Bomb Factory Art Foundation, we are committed to the professional and academic development of young artists and those who are looking to start a career in the art world. Our programme offers a good introduction into the workings of the contemporary art gallery and public facing programmes in the art world.
These are some of the activities interns could undertake during their internship: supporting the installation of shows, invigilating shows, developing graphic content, writing press releases, and researching potential artists for future exhibitions, supporting in the organisation and running of workshops and other programmes.
After submitting your form, you will receive a placement form and will be added to our waiting list. A member of our staff will contact you when a place is available. This is on a first-come-first-served basis. All applicants will have equal opportunities to join our team.
As part of our Internship Programme, we provide mentoring and enrichment opportunities by pairing interns with resident artists or professionals in the industry for one-on-one creative critiques and mentoring sessions.
We believe that our role as mentors in the artworld should extend past our Internship Programme. As such, we have created an online platform for interns to communicate with each other, share opportunities and network.
