Katie Goodwin works mostly in the medium of moving image exploring waste, legacy and time. She studied BA Fine Art & Art History at Goldsmiths and completed an MA Fine Art with Distinction at Wimbledon School of Art in 2011.
She has exhibited at Tate Modern, ICA, Site Gallery, S1 Artspace, and further afield at Contemporary Art Spaces Tasmania, MADA gallery, Melbourne and National Museum, Port of Spain. Touring group shows include New Contemporaries (2011) and 971 Horses & 4 Zebras (2012-2013) and the Music in the Round Transformations commission in (2013-2014). She has had solo shows and screenings at ArtLacuna (2013), Stephen Lawrence Gallery (2015), both in London, and Bohunk Institute, Nottingham; Temporary Art Projects, Southend-on-Sea; Akkigalleria, Jyväskylä; and a duo show in the Gallery at Tyneside Cinema (all in 2015). Residencies include with Pixel Palace at Tyneside Cinema, Newcastle-Upon-Tyne (2011) and HIAP in Helsinki (2014-15).
