Robert Cooper is a multidisciplinary artist who works across sculpture, photography, drawing and digital illustration. His work revels in the discomfort between the mass-produced intersecting with the domestic. He is interested in the products and images that make up our surroundings and conversations and how they settle into the background of our lives despite the brutal industrial processes it took to mine, manufacture and distribute them.
Robert studied at The Edinburgh College of Art before returning to his home town of London where he now lives and works. He has exhibited in collaboration with artist Polly Morgan at Hix Art Gallery as well as showing with Subsidiary Projects and Guts Gallery.
