During the final week of June, we were delighted to welcome Brazil Creating Fashion For Tomorrow into our Marylebone Gallery as part of London Climate Action Week. The programme brought together two interconnected exhibitions: Caatinga: Stitching Resilience, which explores responsible fashion and biomaterial innovation, and Caatinga, a Forest of Many Colours, a retrospective of the acclaimed Brazilian photographer Anna Mariani (1935–2022).

Together, the exhibitions focused on the Caatinga, one of Brazil's most ecologically significant yet overlooked ecosystems. Through fashion, photography and material research, they examined the relationship between landscape, culture and environmental resilience, highlighting the communities that continue to shape and sustain the region.
