Shades of Atonement marks the final chapter of the acclaimed Shades Of series, an annual exhibition curated by NC Productions and hosted at The Bomb Factory Art Foundation.

Bringing together more than 30 London-based artists aged 18 to 35, the exhibition explores how historical and ongoing injustices continue to shape our lives today. Rather than viewing atonement as a single act, the exhibition presents it as an ongoing process of acknowledgement, accountability and repair, inviting audiences to consider what it means to confront the past while imagining a more just future.

For many of the exhibiting artists, opportunities to present work in a professional gallery setting remain out of reach because of financial barriers. Shades of Atonement offers a vital platform for emerging talent, creating space for new voices and perspectives to be seen.
