Helen Clarke

Helen Clarke is a visual artist working in London and Hertfordshire. Completing her MA in Sculpture from the Royal College of Art in 2023, her graduate show was selected for the HIGH prize for Excellence. Her work was exhibited in New Contemporaries 2023 and commissioned by Chanel for the Chanel Next Award. Her work engages with the materiality of place to interrogate the entangled nature of contemporary relationships with the landscape. She weaves aspects of folklore, heritage crafts and rural life with material culture to investigate the cycles and systems of agriculture, fertility and production, considering both ecological histories and futures.
