LEARNING & PARTICIPATION
Our Learning, Participation, and Careers programmes create accessible pathways into contemporary art for people of all ages and backgrounds. From primary school students to emerging artists, we offer opportunities to explore creativity, develop skills, and build confidence through hands-on engagement with artists and real-world creative practice.
Through year-long learning programmes, workshops, studio visits, talks, screenings, and open events, participants are invited to engage directly with contemporary art — not just as audiences, but as active makers and thinkers. Working closely with schools, community organisations, and cultural partners including City Lions, Camden Learning, 11 by 11, Centrepoint, The Foundling Museum, and the National Saturday Club, we aim to remove barriers and reach those who need access to the arts most.
Our Careers programme supports young people and emerging artists to take their next steps, offering internships, placements, mentoring, and professional development opportunities. By providing practical experience, guidance, and networks, we help participants gain insight into the arts sector and develop sustainable creative careers.
