A PERMANENT HOME

We Need a Home

For more than a decade, The Bomb Factory Art Foundation has transformed empty buildings into vibrant cultural hubs. We’ve shown that meanwhile spaces can spark creativity, energise neighbourhoods, and give artists the chance to thrive.

But meanwhile spaces are temporary. Every ending lease puts artists, exhibitions, and communities at risk.

As rising costs drive artists out of Central London, our mission has never been more urgent: to keep creativity alive at the city’s heart.

Looking ahead, we are developing Not Another Art School, a landmark initiative that will offer affordable courses, mentorship, and training as an alternative to traditional art schools. The need for a permanent home to realise this vision has never been clearer.

Our Vision

A permanent home will allow us to:

  • Secure affordable studios in Central London for the artists who need them most

  • Plan ambitious exhibitions and residencies with long-term certainty

  • Develop Not Another Art School, creating a new model of accessible training and mentorship

  • Expand our Learning & Participation Programme, reaching more schools and communities every year

  • Offer a permanent cultural space that strengthens London’s creative future

A permanent building means stability for artists, continuity for communities, and providing  a lasting cultural landmark for London.

Who We’re Looking For

We’re seeking partners who want to shape the future of culture in London:

  • Property owners & developers who want to regenerate buildings for community benefit

  • Philanthropists & patrons who want to leave a lasting cultural legacy

  • Corporate partners who value creativity, education, and social impact

  • Trusts & foundations committed to the arts, education, and communities

  • Architects & regeneration specialists who want to design inclusive cultural spaces

Why Your Support Matters
