OUR AIM

Our free residency programme is specifically designed to support emerging artists who lack studio access and face financial barriers in pursuing their artistic endeavours. We define ‘emerging’ as someone who has not yet received a solo-show for their work.

Selected through an open call process, our resident artists are chosen by interview process, with a panel of two staff members and one of our current resident artists.

Over a two-month period, our residency programme empowers artists to develop a body of work, ultimately leading to a solo-show in one of our gallery spaces. This initiative, complemented by our internship programme, underscores our dedication to providing equitable opportunities for all in the art world.

Moreover, our accessible studio spaces foster collaboration among over 140 resident artists. Resident artists will receive professional development through mentorship, networking opportunities, a platform for their work, and access to studio space. A small budget will be allocated for artists' materials.

Our current resident artists include Orson Campos and Fatima Razavi and previous residency holders are Laurence Watchorn, Jack Laver and Omutunwase Osinaike.

*Due to an overwhelming amount of interest, our rolling submission window is temporarily closed. Sign up for our newsletter to receive updates on when submissions will reopen.
