The Bomb Factory Art Foundation  is a non-profit, artist-led charity dedicated to creating space for art and culture to thrive. Born from an old munitions factory in Archway, we have transformed it into a hub of creativity with four dynamic galleries in Central London, affordable studios, and a vibrant artistic community.

To us, ‘making space’ is simple. Artists flourish when they have room to experiment, support to take risks, and a community to share with. We provide genuinely affordable studios, residencies, mentorship, open critiques, and opportunities to exhibit in London’s central galleries. In return, our artists share their skills through workshops and learning programmes, ensuring art reaches those who need it most.

We challenge the status quo by pairing emerging and established artists in our exhibitions, destabilising the hierarchy that dominates the London art scene. Our mission is to make art accessible, daring, and unmissable.

This year we celebrate our 10th anniversary, marking a decade of creativity, collaboration, and bold ideas. Next on the horizon is an alternative model to art schools, Not Another Art School, and a permanent home for creativity.

London-based artist Pallas Citroen established The Bomb Factory Art Foundation in January 2015. After acquiring the space and necessary funding in late 2014, she designed and project-managed the build until completion. Pallas now serves as the Managing Director of The Bomb Factory, working towards expanding relationships with other art organisations and the community. Additionally, she aids in creating the future program of events and oversees the development of the Foundation. Alongside her duties to the Bomb Factory, Pallas continues her art practice, focusing on sculpture and installation.
