DARE TO JOURNEY INTO THE UNKNOWN - Freya Tewelde at The Bomb Factory Chelsea

Following closely on from Tewelde’s presentation this July at Flowers’ Gallery celebrated Artist of The Day exhibition, we are delighted to announce Dare to Journey into the Unknown, an exhibition of new and recent paintings inspired by Tewelde’s wide ranging study of subjects including psychoanalysis and spirituality.

Born in Asmara, Eritrea (1977) and based in London, Tewelde's interdisciplinary practice encompasses painting, video performance sound, and mixed media, often employing archival photographs and language. This diverse approach enables Tewelde to create complex stories and commentaries on the interplay between personal and collective histories, identity, and the socio-political landscapes that shape our experiences.
