Jiachen Zeng's works are mainly installations, paintings and drawings that involve performative and interactive elements. Her artistic attention is always about boundaries between and among individuals, societies, and environments. She expands on different materials by finding, breaking, or connecting those boundaries to interlock or interrupt the existing balanced ecologies of daily occurrences, which include relationships between people, unforgettable memories, and fetishes about meaningful objects.
